Hanna-Mary Kägra
psychologist with an open heart
I’m a passionate psychologist who approaches her work with dedication and care. I believe that a trusting relationship between psychologist and client is the foundation of effective therapy and I strive to create a stress-free and supportive environment for everyone I work with. I genuinely enjoy connecting with people, offering support and providing reassurance when needed.
Currently, I’m pursuing my master’s degree in psychology and I have completed a bachelor’s degree in the field, along with a degree in English Language and Literature. This allows me to conduct consultations in both Estonian and English.
I believe it’s easier to build trust when you know a bit about the person you’re working with, so here are a few things about me: I’ve been involved in ballroom dancing for 10 years, which has made me love music and movement. I also have two Amstaffs at home and I enjoy cooking in my free time.
Throughout my professional life, I have focused on working with children and youth. I’ve worked in a children’s substitute home, six years as a teacher and also worked as a school psychologist. I am deeply grateful when young people trust me to support them as they navigate the process of discovering who they are and who they want to become. At the same time, my career has allowed me to work with adults, helping them manage their challenges and joys.
I continuously invest in my professional development, as I believe that personal growth and expanding one’s knowledge are essential to providing the best possible support to others.
